Ingredients: Surmai fish slices Grated coconut Onions, garlic, ginger Malvani masala Kokum or tamarind Oil, turmeric, red chili powder, salt Instructions: Roast and grind coconut with onions for masala Cook the masala till oil separates Add Malvani masala, then fish slices Simmer gently until fish is cooked Add kokum for tang Best with steamed rice or rice bhakri Pair with Solkadhi for an authentic coastal touch Pro Tips: Don’t stir too much after adding fish—it may break Let the curry rest 10–15 min before serving for better flavor

Delicious Malvani Prawns Gravy | Spicy & Authentic Konkani Flavor

Malvani Prawns Gravy Recipe (Kolambi Rassa) Ingredients: 500g fresh prawns, cleaned and deveined 2 tbsp oil 1 onion, finely chopped 1/2 cup grated coconut 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 2 tsp Malvani masala 1/2 tsp turmeric Salt to taste 1 tsp red chili powder 1/2 tsp garam masala (optional) Coriander leaves for garnish Instructions: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Roast coconut until golden. Cool and grind to a paste. Heat remaining oil, add chopped onions and fry till golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute. Add prawns, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well. Add the ground coconut paste and Malvani masala. Mix and cook for 5–6 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water, cover and cook for another 5 minutes. Authentic Maharashtrian Crab Curry (Khekda Rassa) Recipe Experience the rich and spicy taste of Maharashtrian Crab Curry of coastal Maharashtra with our traditional Konkani-style crab curry. Made with freshly caught crabs and homemade masala, this dish is a seafood lover’s delight. Add ground masala paste and cook until oil separates. Add crabs and coat them well with the masala. Add water, cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes.
